The Dress Code

Get dressed up.
This is your excuse to wear that one piece you bought for the opera you never made it to, the wedding that got cancelled, or to finally go and buy that silk dress you’ve been eyeing.

The only rule?
Wear something elegant that you feel comfortable in.

The Food & Drinks

Before the party, show off your outfit at a nice restaurant — or eat something fabulous at home if time’s tight. Just arrive well fed, ready to enjoy an open bar and a few snacks throughout the night.

Presence & Presents

The best gift you can bring is your presence.
That’s why there’s a no-phone policy: devices can be left at the cloakroom with your bags and coats. An emergency number will be provided at the door (for babysitters, protective mums, or jealous partners).

Also: please don’t bring physical presents. There’s simply no space — and I’d hate for anything to get lost or left behind. If you’d like, you can contribute to a moneypool Teresa set up. She’ll turn it into something I’d never buy for myself, but will remember everyone by for the next 30+ years.

The Guest List

To make sure you’re on it, please RSVP as soon as possible. If you’d like to bring a +1, please reach out. I’m sure we can accommodate.

Will you be there?

Just a Quick Tip

You won’t need your wallet at the bar — you’re my guests.

But if you’d like to show some love to the wonderful team making the night flow, there’ll be a tip box at the cloakroom. Bring a few coins or notes if you can. They’ll appreciate it — and so will I.

The End

As the poet Nelly Furtado once asked:
“Why must all good things come to an end?”
Because eventually, people get tired and want to go home.

The party wraps at 2:00 AM
after that, you’re free to continue the night on your own terms:

go dancing, wander off, fall into a kebab shop… whatever feels right.

That’s the end of the party.
And the end of this invitation.
